On My Radar: Wooden Rings.

With Spring comes brights colors, light layers and wooden accents. Should it be a pair of wooden bangles, platforms or like the rings shown here – they’re the perfect Spring must-have.

These Aerie painted wood rings come in a set of three, each with different painted designs. I’m kind of obsessed!

Will & Kate’s Wedding

Since Friday (I woke up at 5AM to watch the Royal Wedding), I have seen every photo taken from Prince William and Kate Middleton’s big day. The New York Post and New York Daily News weekend papers, as well as People’s special Royal Wedding issue are in my possession. Now topping off with the following picture, I think I can finally say, I’ve gotten the Royal Wedding out of my system. Or have I?

Don’t they just look absolutely perfect? Congratulations to the new couple, or rather HRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge!

RIP Elizabeth Taylor.

The passing of an icon – Elizabeth Taylor

I will always remember her as the outspoken and passionate ‘Kate’ in The Taming of the Shrew - the first Elizabeth Taylor movie I ever watched. I’ll have to watch it again in her honor.

“New York is the place of opportunities. If there is any place in this world that you want to come to, to be able to make it big or to go after your dreams, it is New York City.

Karlie Kloss Does Dior Spring 2011.

How gorgeous are these ads for Dior’s Spring 2011 campaign with Karlie Kloss?  Brilliantly done by Steven Meisel – they remind me of Copacabana and the 40′s..

William & Kate On Lifetime.

With the royal nuptials to take place on April 28th – we thankfully have something to keep us entertained till then: Lifetime’s upcoming TV movie, William & Kate, set to air on April 18th. It tells the love story of Will and Kate, how they met and the highs and lows during their courtship.

I, like most young ladies around the world, will be watching this movie – swooning and tearing.

Till then,

Maxi Dress for Spring.

Spring is almost here and I’m already dreaming of maxi dresses,  cardigans and iced coffees.

Wouldn’t it be lovely paired with a jean jacket and small wedged sandals?

Here’s to Spring!
